1. Click on STart and then on Run.
2. In the Run box, type: g:\Mr. Wood\elections\evplay.exe
3. Take the Computer Tech Pre-test

3. E-mail Assignment
  • If you don't have an e-mail account, create one. (See Mr. Wood if you need to know how to do this!)
  • Write and send an E-mail Message to Mr. Wood (mwood@alpinedistrict.org)
    • On the subject line, include the words "Computer Tech" so it gets to the right spot in my e-mail inbox.
    • In your message, tell me an appropriate joke and make sure and include your first and last name.
    • Attach a file from your H drive (drills or something) so I know you know how to send an attachment.

  • Write and send an E-mail Message to someone else in the class (get their e-mail address from them) and send a (BCC) of that message to Mr. Wood. (If you don't know what this is, ask me or someone else in class to help you!)
    • In the body of the e-mail message to a classmate, tell them your favorite movie.

  • I will then send you an e-mail message that you will need to reply to. Once you have replied to my e-mail, you will get a score on this assignment.

3. Set up your folder Structure like the structure on pages 25-27 of "The Office Specialist.com" workbook. You can find this workbook on the school's Shared Technology Drive at the following link G:\The Office Specialist (This may not link . . . you can copy and paste it into any folder window on your computer and it will open)

(You can skip the Access folders as we will not do any access assignments. Also, for right now, the logo folders can be left empty and you can download the logos as you go).
